A sentimental choice; my first Sun cover, dated August 2001, Issue 308. Haunting photo by Marshall Clarke.
Issue 337, featuring an photo by the fantastic Hiroshi Watanabe.
Issue 311, a special post-9/11 edition. Half of the body of this issue was devoted to essays and reflections on the tragedy from writers previously published in The Sun. The cover image, the first and only time a wrap-over image was used, was printed as a duotone of black and a metallic silver.
