Goal of the project was to create a next generation blood glucose meter with a graphical UI targeted for a mainstream user population.
Managed both the industrial design and UI design with outside agencies and internal team.
Retaining a the familiar 3-button layout combined with a menu driven UI posed a major design challenge.
Created instructions to allow a new user to set up the meter and run a blood glucose test as quickly and as easily as possible.
Moderated successful usability tests from formative through summative stages with users. Perfomed usability analysis and prepared summary report for regulatory filing.
