Designing & Programming Robots - Built & programmed robots to solve the given design problems. In this case, the real problem was police patrolling with a given set of limitations. I discovered the other hidden limitations like design for appropriate turn radius & calculating time to match the speed.
A tool designed to overcome inhibition for sweepers in India. This helps in the person being able to speak without fear to the higher authority. The social issues that caused me to develop this prototype are:
1) It is each student's responsibility to clean up the mess before leaving classroom.
2) To bring about cross-hierarchical communication, between sweepers to students.
What this project achieved:
1) The tool gave speech empowerment to the generally shy sweepers.
2) It brought about parallel communication between the sweepers, students & their higher authority.
3) The students understood the problem of the sweepers.
4) The sweepers voiced their solutions.
