Design Brief: Create a model to show at tradeshows and to help raise venture capital funds for a new device invented by an entrepreneurial doctor / surgeon. I worked with the doctor and the ultrasonic engineer to design a device to showcase his new ultrasonic liposuction technology for their new company. I built this model in my garage and it is fabricated of Masonite, fir wood, jelutong, pvc pipe, Letraset color film, backlit simulated LED displays, and lots of bondo filler. The display clearly shows the doctor the status of the device and is easy to use in surgical procedures.
