This project created in SolidWorks was done for a worldwide design competition for medical company and it was a finalist in the competition. The requirements were to be low cost, use standard parts where possible, easy to use and use the internal mechanical components that were already designed. The infusion pump used compressed air instead of electricity so it could be used in hospitals in developing third world countries like Rwanda and Zimbabwe where electricity is not dependable or nonexistent.
