The Encyclopedia of Needlework - This is a typography assignment I did. I chose the text and then designed the book. I laid out the type to emboss the front, from our type foundry at school.
Encyclopedia of Needlework - I chose to wirobind this so it is easy to use while sewing.
Front Page - I wanted this to be very delicate and feminine. I chose a fine serif typeface and light pink to achieve this.
Imprint and Title Page - Just a look at the layout.
Contents - This pattern I used on the inside cover also. I like the combination of the tan and brown.
I broke the text I chose into volumes as I wanted it to be a small, functional book that could be used while sewing.
Heading Page - Heading page for the intoduction.
Example Pages - This is how the page layout generally is through out the book.
