Dowco, Inc. Marine Research and Development
I had an internship at Dowco, Inc., in Lebanon, MO where I had a wide variety of project scopes. None of them would be made into products but many of them were exploratory exercises for the company. Dowco was interested in looking at a wider market for their marine branch than they already had, which is primarily the niche of canvas boat covers. They also manufacture bimini and canopy tops. What I explored was travel bags, adaptations for bimini and canopy tops, lights, and poles for pontoon boat covers.
