This project was a series of video pieces highlighting photos and quotes from cancer survivors. The videos are shown as part of a wall dedicated to the people how have undergone treatment at Fred Hutchinson. I created seven three minute videos using After Effects. An important aspect of this project was defining the parameters for the encoding. I researched different configurations and tested them until I found the best balance of compression and quality. The videos can be seen in the Thomas building at the Fred Hutchinson Research Center campus on Fairview in Seattle, Washington.
I helped to re-write the script for this piece in addition to coding it and animating 50% of it.
This is a few frames from a storyboard I created for a video project. You can see the storyboard in video format here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzDy3PgvPH0
I created an animatic from the storyboard using 3D models and photos. You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64-II0fu0lQ
Thomas Indicator Profile version 2. The technology used for the first version of this product was rapidly becoming obsolete. I project managed myself and a developer. I encoded the videos for this project (30+). I also rebuilt the screens to be vector format. Client wanted them to be in this very old visual format.
