A Mid-century Modern home designed in 2300sft (two floors) for a young couple. A freelance project with a total duration of 6 months for Research, Design, and Execution. This non-profit project is aimed at creating memories of togetherness for the couple in their new home. They wanted the space to be soothing, earthy with a touch of Mid-century (clean and simple lines). Few elements of Mid-century modern that reflected their togetherness is using geometry (spheres and triangles) around the space. The plan comprises of Foyer, Study/work room, Home theatre/Multi-purpose room, Kitchen, Dining, Family room, Patio, three bed rooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
My role in this project: Design Research, Concept development, Space planning, Interior Design, Interior Decoration, Lighting, Art Consultant, FF&E, Furnishings, Client and Vendor communications.
