A Residential condo, non-profit freelance project in India designed within 3400sft. Overall project duration from Research, Design and Executions is 1.6 years. The project is aimed to design for aging in place with a detailed attention to the clients safety and comfort. As the clients are nature lovers with a realization of the importance of biophilic design during covid, this project is aimed to connect outdoors to indoors for wellness and tranquility. The clients are more inclined to a right balance fusing Contemporary (simple lines) and Neo-classical design interiors (paneling, molding, fluted glass, wall paintings, etc.). The plan comprises of Entry foyer, Drawing room, Living room, Pooja room (To worship), 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, Dining room, Two balconies, Kitchen with utility room.
My role in this project: Design Research, Concept development, Space planning, Interior Design, Lighting, Art Consultant, FF&E, Furniture Design, Furnishings, Client and Vendor communications.
