I created series of small and simple paper-cuts presenting British elements. My idea is that each piece of works will present a strong element with British color and enable the reader to see at a glance that it is describing Britain. In addition, I would like to integrate some lively and humorous elements into the design, which can enable the readers to smile with an understanding. I have drawn up several simple sketches, in each of which there is a kind of animal such as a bird shitting on the Stonehenge, the Tower Bridge set up on a dog’s belly and the nests on the caps of British Royal Guards. I like these naïve and ridiculous ideas very much because they can enable the monotonous scenic spots to be vivid.
