VB Programming with Excel

Detailed user interface within Excel designed for use by sales staff for product quoting. Expedites quoting process to a few minutes and allows users to generate PDF quotations without having to manually type descriptions or sum costs.

Incorporates limitations and dynamic fields according to actual product capabilities and user's previous selections. Interface is created using Excel's "Userform" capabilities. VB script was hand-written and includes thousands of lines.

A segment of the program allows the user to create their own file templates for reuse. This portion of the code generates a file format unique to the company and identifiable by a custom designed, eight-layer, varying size icon file (.ico) for use in Windows. Custom icon was designed in Photoshop and installed through system registry edits to pair it to the (.jat) file.
