In-line Blower Design
Project pertaining to the design and testing of an "in-line" blower assembly for US Draft Co. Worked hand-in-hand with customer to transform their ideas and sketches into intricate and detailed CAD models. Several prototypes were built and tested with a custom-built flow meter. Validated designs moved on to become a major production line. Challenges of the model include complex angles and sheet metal parts. Full production prints offered complete fabrication details on three 8.5 x 11 pages - far more compact than our standard format of one page per part. This is one of four portfolio projects featuring US Draft Co. products.
