Example of a 3D model controlled by parameters and internal programming. Capable of matching all possible product combinations such as (3-8) braces, ring vs rod reinforcements, varying hub and impeller dimensions, (4) alternate tab styles, rotation, reinforcement disk placement, and more. A matching template can be used to seamlessly create prints for company's most popular product line. Designed to aid CAD designers in making prints quickly, efficiently, and consistently. Future uses will include online product specification by customers - allowing the ability to design, customize, and download both 2D and 3D CAD documents in a variety of formats. Model was designed in PTC Creo 1.0. Pro/Program was used to alter the model state, suppressing and modifying features on the fly within the model's source code. Model has several simplified representations that hold sketches for each component of the assembly allowing for seamless 2D part exportation using the template.
