Project pertaining to the design and testing of a similar "in-line" blower assembly for US Draft Co. but featuring an elbow design. Worked hand-in-hand with customer to transform their ideas and sketches into intricate and detailed CAD models. Several prototypes were built and tested with a custom-built flow meter. Validated designs moved on to become a major production line. Challenges of the model include complex angles and sheet metal parts. Full production prints offered complete fabrication details on several 8.5 x 11 pages - far more compact than the previous method of one page per part. The intricate rectangle-to-round transition was made using a custom made CAD program discussed in the "Large Industrial Blower" project. This is one of four portfolio projects featuring US Draft Co. products.
