10,000 CFM Flow Meter

Design, specification, and implementation of a fully-automated 10,000 CFM flow meter for internal research and development. Designed "What's New 2011" marketing material to show customers the value-added of our new in-house, state-of-the-art testing equipment.

Project included the use of transducers (torque and pressure), RTDs, humidity probes, relays, switches, valves, virtual PID controllers, safety alarms, virtual signal conditioning, EMI reducers, and other sensor/electrical components. The sensors and controls were interfaced using NI LabVIEW into a fully-automated, virtual PLC and user-friendly GUI, deployable from a single executable file.

The lab report shown is generated automatically using VB code and Excel. Lab report publishing is completely automated from within LabVIEW and end file format of PDF.
