D.I.Y. The Punk Design Aesthetic - This project began as a research paper about the cut and paste “Do It Yourself” movement in Graphic Design popularized during the 1970s punk rock era in England and America.
The paper was made into a hardcover book bound in black vinyl, with metal studs, and a record as the cover. I wanted to use tactile elements of punk era to help create a genuine sensory experience.
