Roly-poly pot --RED DOT AWARD 2007 - “Roly Poly Pot” is a pot that tumbles over when the plant is thirsty. I have many bad experiences to kill my plant by several mistakes. Most of them are failing the proper water supply. I want to design the smart pot that allows to people notice the water supply situation intuitively. In my design, the plant will talk to you “I am thirsty” as they tumble over.

LOVEPOT - --2009 Japan Good Design Award-- The Love Pot is a non-electric humidifier, at the same time, an aroma releaser that was designed for the Nanum project. The Nanum project is a donation project that is funded through new product developments. This project is a good example of a collaborative design serving a philanthropic purpose. The Love Pot was designed and produced solely for the purpose of sharing, and 100% of its profits are donated to provide educational scholarships to needy children.

HearTea - The Heartea(The compound word "heartea" is formed from the words "heart" and "tea" which has the meaning of hearty.) is an interactive tumbler which shows the temperature inside lightening the bulged part of the body. The heartea has a symbol of heart on the left side of the body. It throbs softly and emotionally just like human heartbeat while touching it symbolizing a humane heart sharing and loving neighbors. Users can feel comfortable communing with it while enjoying their tea time. At the same time, it works as giving information about inside temperature for safety and convenience. It shows three different colors when touched by user hands and each represents cool for beverages, warm for tea, hot for coffee with blue, orange, and red colors. This is determined through the research that the best temperature of coffee to drink is 65~75C, tea is 50~65C, beverage is 4C. Therefore, People are able to aware the inside temperature and good timing to drink intuitively. The heartea has a message coin on the bottom. It is a magnetic cap of battery part, also, a message coin for love message. people can share loves with heartea writing their messages on the coin.
