Recycled photo fabric product packaging collages
The content goals for the project are that students will be able to use the materials of paper, photo, product packaging and fabric in order to create a collage. The collage should use any of the following elements of art: color, space, shape, value, line, and texture as well as the principles of design: balance, repetition, simplicity, emphasis, framing, contrast and direction of movement. Contained somewhere in the collage should be a meandering or geometric growth pattern and be unified. The collage can be of any subject matter and can make use of students other talents such as drawing, painting and sewing. The point is to engage in a real act of recycling via the creative act of artmaking.
