Apparel Design
In this project, taking inspiration from Birds, we developed a paper garment and then transformed it into a wearable garment. I looked at the geometric arrangement of feathers on the wings of birds while creating the paper garment. In the textile garment I tried to show the contrast of this structured arrangement to the wandering nature of birds, by keeping the top rigid and geometric and creating a loose Kaftan-like silhouette below it.
