Modernizing and (Re)interpreting the Exhibition Galleries at the Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery.

It has been 115 years since the inception of the museum. It houses priceless historical collections displayed in outdated exhibition galleries. However, the diverse collection offers opportunities for interaction that are still relevant to a contemporary audience.
The objective was to redesign the content and display of the existing Indian musical instruments gallery of the Baroda museum to make it relevant to modern times.
The proposed gallery depicts Indian musical history and the evolution of Indian musical instruments with audio-visual aids to hear the musical notes of the instruments.
The Project was also presented and well appreciated at the Museum Seminar conducted at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad attended by various professionals successful in the field.
