His work was special by how individual he is. It so adorable to see the arts that mixed with culture, environment, etc. it make a beautiful and new ways to think about arts not just how it looks and how you feels but also to think deeply about it intuition. His painting can be based on the difference variety of things which depend on your perspective. Actually, I just start learned about Thawan Duchanee even though I have known him for a while. My mom loves to send me his painting and his quotes. He once said “it’s good to have charisma, but it’s better to work hard for it.”
He utilizes line as a language of perceive. First from his perspective and then he shares it to the world.
I think arts can be valuable by how individual it holds. Thawan Duchanee does a great job on pulling his perceive of art to the world and that’s what made it valuable.
P.S. He died in 2014 but i thinks he's still counts as a contemporary artist.
