Preserve Our Reserves is a mission initiated by Greenwoods Resorts inorder to protect flora and fauna. The resort is near to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Created by the British in 1895, the Periyar Tiger Reserve is South India's most popular wildlife sanctuary. Covering an area 777 sq. km. in size with a 26sq. km artificial lake, the Sanctuary is home to elephants, tigers, bisons, wild boars, langurs and deers.
