After researching and analyzing the needs of a cleaning lady in a residence hall, a pan and squeegee were designed to address the problem of wet sink tops. The pan, made by folding a sheet of polyacrylic, can be used by maintenance and residents to clean up excess water on the sink tops, replacing the current method of using paper towels.
