Champlain College Viewbook Concept Work

Design lead for the viewbook redesign of a small private Vermont college. The college has an "upside down" curriculum, which means that students get right into major coursework from day one. This work is from the concept phase of the project. Two options were presented to the client. Both focus on actual student experience. Option one challenging and direct with bold graphics and snappy headlines. Option two is personal and collaborative with story driven copy and illustrations that are meant to show diverse perspectives.

Unfortunately this work was too adventurous for the client and they chose to move in a more conservative direction. See Champlain College Viewbook.
