Kona Bike Booth
Branding + Booth Design + 3D Modeling
Kona bike: A northwest based bike company founded in 1977 with 6 lines of bikes, mainly focusing on high end mountain, downhill, and bmx bikes.
Preliminary research defined the brand as having roots in high country forests and trails [both built and urban]. Each year Kona develops a heavily themed production line and unique product names.
This concept focuses on the using logging as a theme for presenting the product. Primary structures are constructed of 18' 18" diameter cedar logs with 3 cantilevered bikes called "spring boarding". Center displays three key product bikes on a intentionally distressed 2x4 and 4x4 structure called "built". Product specs and way-finding are displayed on 6 main structures called "trail head signs".
