This shows the process work involved in make the final appearance model for Vibel. I made the bracelet by bending walnut and cherry veneer around a jig. I then bent a laser cut acrylic strip around the top of the finished bracelet shape to represent the screen. In the initial stages I tested the components involved by taking apart a speaker and connecting it to both my iPod and a vibration motor. As I played music on my iPod the vibration motor vibrated to the rhythm of the music which is something I want to incorporate in this product.
