Photographs captured with luck in a fraction of a passing second.
Breeze from NoWhere - This photo was shot during an anti Sandra Day O'Connor protest in San Francisco.
City of the Dead - I framed this shot of a tomb in a cemetery outside of Cairo, Egypt and I was just about to click my shutter when this girl suddenly walked into the frame holding her bread.
I had no idea where she had come from!
Spiderman - Shot in the Mission district of San Francisco.
I was waiting for a river boat ride on the river Thames in London when I saw a father taking pics of his kids.
They looked like little men to me so I ran over and asked if I could take some photos. I printed this one up and sent it to the father who lived in Saudi Arabia.
Mummer, Philadelphia, PA. - This is my masterpiece (according to me only!) taken just after I bought my Hasselblad camera.
It was shot on New Year's Day in Philadelphia PA., at the end of the Mummer's Day Parade.
I didn't go to the parade.
I waited on the street that most mummers walk home on and caught them after their glory had faded a bit.
The vacant stare of this guy terrifies me.
Hands Across America Santa Monica, CA - My only time in Santa Monica, CA was when I went with a friend to his work place. We pulled up and I saw all these people holding hands in the street. I raced over and started snapping!
Pink Nun, Philadelphia, PA - I had a fantastic opportunity to teach the Pink Sisters in Philadelphia, PA., a few camera tricks. But I asked to photograph them in return. They are cloister nuns who stay behind screens and are not normally seen by the public.
They were really, really charming and I shot much more than I taught.
