Scent Vase - a new sensory archetype
Scent Vase is a handmade ceramic vessel that I conceptualised and made following a 10 weeks research project taking place in The Netherlands, Ireland, Romania and Germany.
The object challenges the archetype of a traditional vase by concealing the visual beauty of a flower and setting the stage for an olfactory experience.
Scent Vase is currently exhibited in the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco.
Scent Vase won a Silver Berlin Design Award 2022.
