Model Making
This is an architectural model of a music arena that I made for my A level Product Design coursework. The shape of the model is made from vacuum forming around a light fitting, the acryclic hexagons on the outside were cut out on a laser cutter before being individual heated and bent to create a gentle curve. The shell is transparent and the hexagons opaque, allowing a gentle glow of light from the arena. Small LED lights were stuck on to the interior shell of the arena which was also vacuum formed.
