Quinny is a global stroller brand manufactured by the Canadian company Dorel. Studio Peter Van Riet was asked to join Quinny’s innovation team in an innovation exercise aimed at finding new products.
During a number of strategic and ideation exercises, several solutions were defined. One of them was the longboardstroller. The concept was further developed from prototypes to design in close collaboration with Quinny. Studio Peter Van Riet also designed the branding, set up the initial website and the social media campaign.
Result.
The longboardstroller was a viral hit even before it was produced. Movies of the prototype were shared around the world by individuals, blogs and traditional media. In the meantime, the longboardstroller has been launched successfully.
