Design On Rail Cargo Shuttle System - Cargo containers from Vancouver area ports are loaded onto an on-rail cargo mover. The cargo mover replaces the ten trucks that would be required to move the same volume of cargo containers through the Lower Mainland to the warehouse for unloading.
Empty cargo containers are pulled from the warehouse to a trans load facility where cargo containers are reloaded with grain. Every day the on-rail cargo mover pulls cargo containers of grain to Vancouver area ports for export.
