Curve Colection - I have designed the collection named Curve for a company called Rodney Kent. Rodney Kent has been manufacturing stamped aluminum serving ware since 1950. I was hired to design a more contemporary line. The pieces are manufactured from a non tarnishing aluminum alloy called Magalon which is approved by the FDA for direct food contact. The pieces are then polished to create a high shine. The collection went into production May 2002 and is being sold throughout North America.
Lean-To Chair - The Lean-To chair was designed as while I was a student at parsons in 1997. We had to come up with new was of seating. I came up with the concept after noticing people including my self taking a swivel chair spining it around and sitting on it backwards with the backrest acting as an arm rest. The chair seat is a bent lamination of air craft ply. The fabric is skin diving Neoprene.
Lanky Lamps - The Lanky Lamp Originated while I was a student at Parsons. Is was subsequently was produced by George Kovacs in1998. The Lanky Lamp was feartured in I.D., the New York Times, House Beautiful and the Book Lighting 2000.
