Autodesk Alias modelling and rendering exercise. Orthographic views were given and the method of modelling was developed.
Rendering was carried out using Luxion Keyshot 3. A powerful render software that allowed to bring the vehicle to life.
Keyshot automotive paints were used to give these contrasting colours.
Mannequins were placed inside and outside the vehicle to show interaction with human sizes. In this case an average UK male was taken into account using the people size software to determine the size.
The overall work was carried out in a span of 2 weeks. Surface quality was maintained by using tangent continuity.
As a part of the Alias modelling exercises, a wedding present was to be designed and created using Alias.
In India to be married normally means to be married for life. Amongst penguins, studies show that a pair mate forever. This significance helped define my choice of gift.
Simple shapes were stretched and trimmed to attain the smooth surfaces. Wedding cake toppings featuring penguins were used as an inspiration.
