I wanted something that could carry two weeks worth of stuff (I pack light), use easily as a carry-on, and have lots of pockets with easy access. I also wanted the expandability of a roll-top with the access of a traditional clamshell backpack.

*Four zippers so you can access the inside of your bag from the right or left side to grab what you need.
*Two compression straps on each side.
*Roll-top has two buckles that can be compressed as well. *Removable strap that goes over the top of the toll-top that can be attached and secured with G-hooks.
*Two carbon fiber rods that run the length of the bag (they slide into the two pieces of black binding that are sewn on the inside of the bag). You can remove them if you want to be able to fold the bag in half for storage.
*Simple but effective sternum strap
