John Deere Pavillion Discovery Zone
I was hired to create the graphics for the children’s activities at the Deere Pavilion. These had been conceived by a St. Louis design firm in conjunction with Deere and the Pavilion. There were playstations, photo opportunities and the mural pictured here.
This was a big, visible project with great production values to boot! Nothing hurts more than doing a portfolio piece and having it ruined at the printer.
I often get asked by people I meet where they can see my work. Unfortunately, a lot of it is for specific purposes and isn’t around very long. So this project was a great opportunity to have my work on permanent display. To make it even better, it was close to home so I could send the curious to see it. It’s been fun to stop in every once in a while and watch kids and parents interact with the final results.
