ON/OFF is a residential building in the center of rybnik city. It has a very unigue location, because it can be easily said that absolutely everything is in the walking distance: shops, market square, theatre, cinema, schools and even a river. Nowadays people like living in the city but they long for nature.
Thanks to the use of traditional on silesia brick and a modern shape of the building i was able to create a feeling of safety as well as feeling home. A variety of apartments gives many opportunities for the future users. This building can accomodate up to 370 people. On the underground floor there is a car parking garage for 200 cars.
The surrounding is designed in a coherent way. A system of walkways radiates from the center of the building. One of them leads us to the riverside where inhabitants may meditate, party or just simply relax.
