Patrick Haggerty

Working with the Zoo director, educational staff and building architect, we developed interpretive exhibits based on a 19th Century farm on the Erie Canal. The intention of this exhibit is to educate inner-city children about farm animals and the foods they produce. Having a canal and farm setting afforded weaving in issues surrounding farming such as watersheds and water use. As lead exhibit designer, my responsibilities were in aiding development as well as designing the exhibit structures.
