ROTHKO PENTHOUSE
Rothko Residence is a 4,000 square feet, 2-story penthouse, perched atop the 14th floor, located in Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York. The design concept is inspired by the challenge to marry their deeply rooted traditional heritage with love for contemporary. Layers of juxtapositions are expressed through plays with muted colors against bright colors, as well as traditional furnishings with unexpected finishes. Colors extracted from their key Mark Rothko painting are threaded throughout the residence bringing cohesion and unity.
