I changed everything. Only the concept remained.
Improving comfort, safety and ofcourse the looks.
With the futuristic look, I wanted the design to be inviting and eyecatching. As you can use the wheelsurf for advertising.

Wheelsurf Changes - The design changes were,
- a comfortable seating (wider and with a backrest)
- thumb gas trottle
- open view (no full circle shells)
- integrated footpads
- more promotional surface
- organic lines, twirling around the shells, continued in the seating, giving it a futuristic and friendly look.

The improvements.
- A cut out of the circle, so you don't have to look around the shells to see where you're going
- A bigger sadle, so that women can also sit gently on it.
- A back rest, for comfortable riding and so you can lean back.
- Intergrated footpads
- A different engine which is located at the backbottum
- A whole different steel body, for strength and comfort
- A thumb controlled gas trottle
shaping the shells - After a lot of sketching it was time to start model making. As you can see, the positive shape for the moulds were made in foam. On the search for the right shape.

Wheelsurf on Nextfest New York - This year's Nextfest was organized in New York. At our booth we made a special stand for this wheelsurf, so people could sit in it and enjoy a bit of the wheelsurf experience
