Reinvented Activity Tracker- Human Factors based project
As part of course focusing on user-centred design and human factors, I was given the task to choose a current activity related product and redesign it for a specific user group.
As my parents had recently retired and were struggling to adjust to a new daily routine I decided to focus on recently retired women, as through studies I had found it was women who were more likely to gain weight after retirement.
The result was a simpler, easier to use and orientate design that used the current size and material of the existing activity tracker but made it more enjoyable and quicker to use.
