NID- Ergonomics Studies
For the Ergonomics Studies, I did research under the guidance of Dr. Subir Das, faculty at National Institute of Design (NID), and published a literature review on
‘Currency notes for the blind' in ‘Design Plus', magazine published annually by NID. In this review we have discussed about the implications of visual disability, the various currency identification features adopted by countries across the globe, like, tactile features, size, edge modification, holes, colour, numerals, shapes and course patterns, devices, and the shortcoming of all these features.
