This was the first time I was honored to work with Spike Lee to create his Spike Lee Joint cap with New Era.
Spike wanted a wool 59FIFTY cap that showcased all the years the Yankees have won the world series. Initially, it was just only up to 2000, but as soon as the Yankees won in 2009, I had to revise it.
It was a great project that I had a lot of fun with working with what Spike wanted to do.
Added point of interest, this is the only official New Era branded headwear showcased in Derek Jeter's RE2PECT video.
