Swim Pod is a visibility and buoyancy device for open water swimmers. If a swimmer is in danger, their visibility is key. Additionally, if difficult to spot in the water, swimmers may be at risk of impact by vessels. Swim Pod overcomes these issues by providing additional visibility and buoyancy to the swimmer through a partially inflatable device.
Designed to be easily transported, Swim Pod fits easily inside of a backpack. Once inflated, the user attaches a comfortable neoprene belt around their waist and tows the product behind them whilst they swim. By rotating the top hemisphere, the user can activate the lights which illuminate the product at night, providing even greater visibility of the swimmer. If in distress, the user can activate the SOS flash rate, indicating to a spotter that they are in need of assistance. Additionally, the product can be placed under the arms of the user so that they can rest or swim to safety.
