Impression of Denim - Back pocket design which was originally implemented as a simple stitched signature design representing the brand, has grown into embellished designs. More than one design can represent a single brand. With this project, I wanted to explore the back pocket signature designs and the representation of brand through the designs. This information design piece shows that consistency of a sign isn’t necessarily the best representation of a brand. A brand is more than a sign, a symbol.

Missed Conversations - Without any constrictions to assigning tag words to uploaded media, people tag in any way they want. Some of the tags I collected were expressions of multiple words, which would make it almost impossible for someone else to type the same combination to search and find the image. These tags are created more in the style of writing captions, by making each sentence a new tag. I wanted to explore how to use these unique tags to inspire design form. This project is a booklet of tag expressions.

Exhibition - As the final step of this project, I designed an exhibition space presenting the core values of the work. The expe-rience begins with a wall covered with curated Flickr images towering over the viewer. It’s followed by walking over to boards showcasing analysis of information, then the counter presenting the books that were the product of said research. I created large scale graphics that put the books in context.
