MUSE Madness Typographic Book
The assignment was to create a printed book or time-based narrative that effectively used structure, style, proportion, color, construction, optical compensation, and rhythm and pacing to engage and educate a specific target audience on a selected body of content. I chose to use the lyrics from Madness by Muse for the content and the cover is art I re-purposed from a previous assignment.
The background of each spread consists of the lyrics for the entire song. The larger words in each spread represent one verse. In the background text, the verse of the spread is shown in pink. There are other, subtle, uses of pink throughout the book.
