I did this sample magazine cover & layout during my first attempt to use Adobe InDesign.
The magazine theme, which apparently appears to be some magazine about Nature and Gardening, is inspired by the all-so-stunning photo found at http://www.sxc.hu/photo/276113
All information, titles and headers are fictitious and made up by me for the sake of doing up a sample magazine about Gardening. So please excuse me for the weird main story title of "The Benefits of Sunflower" =D
