Text Type Collage - In this assignment, students create a collage with "found" text type and use it for different shadings & textures within their composition. Students focus on the "color" of the type, as they find type in various leading, font styles and reverse settings, printed on various substrates and in different languages. The purpose of the assignment is to become aware of and see the texture various text typesets present.
