FLCL Ultimate Edition digipack - This is part of the FLCL Ultimate Edition. The digipack was made with three goals in mind. 1) feature the Canti robot as a wraparound image that goes with the slipcase (bottom middle), 2) have a basic CMYK theme for the disc carriers that relates to the disc labels (top row), and 3) when folded up the two flaps come together to feature the show information (lower right and left). copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Ultimate Edition slipcase - The slipcase was made as a complement to the digipack. The original artwork (featured on the digipack) has been recolored to show Canti the robot in his red form and pops out against a gray background. Since the same artwork is used, it's very easy to line up the two pieces and put the slipcase on correctly. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Ultimate Edition Disc 1 label - This is disc 1 of the FLCL Ultimate Edition. Like in the original DVDs, the gray areas are transparent and show the reflective disc surface. The character Haruko is featured yet again for the first disc, and it matches the yellow theme of the original. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Ultimate Edition Disc 2 label - This is disc 2 of the FLCL Ultimate Edition. Like in the original DVDs, the gray areas are transparent and show the reflective disc surface. The character Mamimi is featured yet again for the second disc, and it matches the magenta theme of the original. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Ultimate Edition Disc 3 label - This is disc 3 of the FLCL Ultimate Edition. Like in the original DVDs, the gray areas are transparent and show the reflective disc surface. Disc 3 is the most different from the original DVDs in that not only did the theme color change from white to cyan, but while Ninamori is featured in the disc carrier, Naota is the character featured on the disc itself. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Ultimate Edition Disc 4 label - This is disc 4 of the FLCL Ultimate Edition. Though the design is rather simple, this disc features the famous P! logo from the series. This disc is mostly a collection of music videos and other extras, so it's meant to be a little different from the other discs. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Vol.1 disc label - Made as a continuing theme for the FLCL DVD series consisting of 3 volumes. The art for these was originally used for a 3 volume novel series. The gray parts are actually transparent so the reflective disc surface is seen. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Vol.2 disc label - Made as a continuing theme for the FLCL DVD series consisting of 3 volumes. The art for these was originally used for a 3 volume novel series. The gray parts are actually transparent so the reflective disc surface is seen. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
FLCL Vol.3 disc label - Made as a continuing theme for the FLCL DVD series consisting of 3 volumes. The art for these was originally used for a 3 volume novel series. The gray parts are actually transparent so the reflective disc surface is seen. copyright 1999 GAINAX/KGI
Aquarian Age the Movie DVD cover - Water is a running theme for the Aquarian Age packaging and menus. This entire cover was printed on foil, which really brings out the subtleties like the gradient borders on the pentagonal character screenshots. It has to be seen in person in order to really get a feel for it. The front illustration is by Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross, Gunbuster). copyright BROCCOLI
Aquarian Age the Movie DVD label - This is the DVD disc art for Aquarian Age the movie. It features the main character Mayumi against a snow backdrop illustrated by Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross, Gunbuster). This disc featured an eleborate masking process that allowed the backdrop to recede and be semi-transparent. It's too bad that it can't be shown on a computer screen. copyright BROCCOLI
Aquarian Age the Movie CD label - This is the CD disc art for Aquarian Age the movie. While the artwork wasn't really suited for CD dimensions, it complements the DVD disc art since both are done by the same artist. copyright BROCCOLI
Aquarian Age the Movie DVD booklet - This is only a few of the 16 pages of the booklet that accompanied the Aquarian Age the Movie DVD. Again, water is a prominent theme since the background uses a subtle, faded blue motif. copyright BROCCOLI
