CLIENT: PAUL PARK PHOTOGRAPHY ||| The following offset job was created as an exhibition promo piece. Look simple? Think again. Try 2 days to sort through hundreds of high-res photos (no client selects), to retouch hickies and inelegant bleeds, to pen non-existent copy + design within an awkward shape for both B&W vertical and color square images. More time would definitely have allowed for more conceptual type. But the photo pairings which I suggested (e.g. scarf vs flag...necklace vs camera) impressed the photographer in that they helped to tell a more meaningful story. So much so he continued to use my pairings on his website thereafter. (*Note that all B&W images are those of veterans while the color images represent civilians.)
